Description:

This large curley (53-66 cm long) is very similar to Eurasian Curlew which it is distinguished by the longer bill, darker plumage and, in flight, its dark lower back and rump. In the summer, the plumage have rusty tones.  It occurs in Macao as a passage migrant.
