Rocky Intertidal

Rocky intertidal ecosystems are very dynamic coastal regions between high and low tides in which organisms are periodically exposed to air and high energy waves. Parts of the rocky shores of Coloane in Macao are home to a variety of interesting intertidal flora and fauna which is worth exploring! It is amazing to see how these organisms thrive in such an extreme environment!
