Description:

The Common Bluestripe Snapper is yellowish with usually four blue stripes on its sides. Can grow up to a length of 40 cm. Lives in coral reefs and in seagrass beds around patch reefs. Preys on fishes, shrimps, crabs, stomatopods, cephalopods and planktonic crustaceans. Commercialized for human uses.
