Description:

This medium-sized falcon has 27-35 cm length and wingspan  57-79 cm. The body is slim with a distinctive long tail and dark mustache streak. The plumage is chestnut brown with dark spots on the upperside and buff with narrow blackish streak on the underside. The male has a blueish-grey cap and tail. It is a common winter visitor in Macao.
