Description:

This large tern (48-56 cm in length) has short black legs and a large red bill, with a black tip. The summer plumage is mainly white with a black cap, and the wings are pale grey with dark primaries. In the summer, the cap become streaked white. The Caspian Tern ocurs in Macao as a winter visitor and a passage migrant.
