Description:

This large seabird has 70-80 cm in length and 175-193 cm in wingspan. The plumage is mostly all black with a white patch on the flank (males) or white collar and breast (females). The bill is slate-blue (males) or pinkish (females). Occasionally wanders at Macao coastal area.

Accipiter gularis

Chinese Name: 日本松雀鷹

Family: Accipitridae

Description:

This is the smallest bird of prey in the region, with 23-30 cm in length. It is very similar to Besra, but is smaller and has a uppertail pattern.  It occurs in Macao as a passage migrant.

Description:

Small (18-19 cm) Bulbul with greenish upperparts and pale underparts. Adults have a distinctive broad white nape and throat contrasting with a black cap. It is a common resident found in almost every park, gardens and urban habitats in Macao.

Description:

Small (17-21 cm) Bulbul with a distinctive black crest and a red patch behind the eye. The plumage is brown upperparts and mainly white underparts with a red vent. It is a common resident in Macao and found in woodlands, gardens and city parks.

Description:
