Description: 

A medium-sized fish that grows up to 40 cm. The coloration of body is blue with yellow on the back. The yellow area starts from the neck for the younger Caesio teres. Lived around coral reefs and feeds on zooplankton in large midwater groups. Used for minor commercial purposes.

Description:

The Lunar Fusilier has a bluish body, pale ventrally; with caudal lobe tips, axil and upper base of pectoral fin black. Juveniles has yellow tails and black tips. It reach up to a maximum length of 40 cm. They are found in coastal areas, mainly on or near coral reefs and feeds on zooplankton. Used for minor commercial purposes.

English Name: Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier

Chinese Name: 黄尾梅鲷

Family: Caesionidae

Description:

Recognised by its colouration, the Redbelly Yellowtail Fusilier has a greyish-blue body with white or pinkish lower sides and belly, and a large yellow tail. The length is usually at 35 cm. They live in coastal areas, usually over rocky and coral reefs. They also forms schools in midwater and feeds on zooplankton. Used for commercial purposes.

Species: Caesio caerulaurea 

English Name: Blue and Gold Fusilier, Scissor Tailed Fusilier

Chinese Name: 褐梅鲷

Family: Caesionidae

Description: 

Fusilier with a golden band from above the eye that runs straight along the bluish upper and white to pale bluish lower body.They inhabit primarily around coral reefs and are found in schools in deep lagoons and along seaward reefs. Used for commmercial and occasionally as a bait for tuna.

Description:
