Description:
The Longfin Mojarra has a slender body with weakly attached silvery scales, the spines of the dorsal and anal fins are longer than the rays, long and pointed pectoral fins that reaches beyond the anal fin spines, and rounded caudal fin lobes. Can grow up to a length of 15 cm. Lives in coastal waters. Preys on small benthic animals. Minor commercialized for human.
