English Name: Japanese Felt Fern

Chinese Name: 石韋

Family: Polypodiaceae

Description:

Perenial fern, evergreen with a long rhizome. Its sporangia are yellow to brown when mature. It’s an epiphytic fern.

Its natural range is Southeast East Asia, and Central and South of China.

It’s used as a ornamental plant but also in Chinese medicine where it helps with urinary and bronchial infections.
