Description:
The Blue-spotted Large-eye Bream has a silver body with blue spots on its snout. It has 10 dorsal spines, 9-10 dorsal soft rays, 3 anal spines and 9-10 anal soft rays. Can grow up to a length of 45 cm. Lives in sandy and rubble bottoms near rock and coral reefs. Preys on bottom-dwelling invertebrates. Used for minor commercialization.
