Description:

The overall color of a Mozambique Large-eye Bream is silvery-gray with yellowish suffusion, and scale margins are narrowly brownish. There is sometimes presence of indistinct dark blotches or bars on the body. The lips are whitish to yellow. Can grow up to a length of 55 cm. Lives in the outer edge of the continental shelf. Preys on bottom-living invertebrates and small fishes. Used for minor commercialization.
